How do I manage different budgets?
Budgets are exceptionally flexible. They can be organized by department, location, project, manager, etc. They can be set as one-time or automatically re-fund on a scheduled basis.
What reports are available in Whistle?
Whistle has detailed reporting for all aspects of the platform including budgets, transactions, learning, surveys and more. If there is any information not available, let us know and our reporting team will provide it. All data is also available to download and integrate into your systems.
How do you handle "breakage" or unspent funds?
Breakage is an industry term describing when not all the funds on a gift card or points balance is used and your recognition “partner” takes that money as profit without telling anyone. For example, Starbucks reported making $211,000,000 from breakage in 2023. Whistle does not have breakage. Funds don’t expire. We don’t use points.
What does the Whistle Rewards platform cost?

How does Whistle handle taxes on rewards?
Whistle is IRS compliant. Clients receive a monthly reconciliation report providing payment summaries, by employee, by payment type. Payroll injests the information and manages any required withholdings.
How does Whistle handle fraud or misuse of funds?
Whistle offers fraud protection for clients. We will reimburse fraudulent transactions up to $50.
Do funds expire in the Whistle Rewards platform?
Your company funds (such as a health and wellness budget) can be set with an expiration date, so any unused funds return to the company general budget automatically.

How does Whistle manage employees joining or leaving our organization?
Whistle can integrate with your HRIS system, automatically staying up-to-date with your employee status. When employees leave your organization the rewards they have earned go with them. Any company funds are returned to the company general account.
Can I use Whistle Rewards with people outside of my company?
Yes! Whistle is available for anyone associated with your company, including (in addition to employees) sub-contractors, supply-chain partners, etc
Does Whistle Integrate with my HRIS?
Whistle integrates with over 80 HRIS systems and can automate adding or removing people.
Can Whistle Rewards be used outside of Procore?
Whistle offers an app that integrates into Procore and a platform that offers rewards, recognition, learning, surveys and more. Whistle makes it easy because all of your employee rewards and recognition programs can be managed in one place saving ou time and money.
Do employees have to download another app?
No. Whistle is integrated in Procore and delivers rewards via a text or email link. Participants in rewards programs just keep using Procore and we automate the rest.

What support do you provide to help our team adopt Whistle?
Each client is assigned a Client Success Manager who can help answer any questions, get you set up and provide ongoing support. There is also a knowledge center, training videos and other resources to help make launching Whistle easy.
